I could begin by stating that I live in Northern Virginia with my wife, two daughters, and my German shepherd dog, and then proceed to recount ho-hum stories about me that you wouldn’t bear listening to in any case. So I won't. If you are perusing this site then you are either a friend, or a family member, or an old acquaintance that doesn’t wish me well but forgot why, or a hapless individual misguided by an SEO with a malfunctioning O, or a member of the panel who will be judging my MFA thesis on December 14, 2012. An MFA that would have taken me 3 full years (with summers) to complete. If I am successful at defending my final project, it would be my fourth graduate degree next to the three that I have earned in economics, finance, and software engineering. But it is my most rewarding academic experience, bar none. Flash Update: the thesis was accepted and I graduated—summa cum laude. ;-) I have rapidly concocted this minimalist, no-frills web presence because it is a requirement for graduation. Though I didn’t test it much, it should work well on most browsers since it uses "standard" HTML and scripting. All the works that I am showing are my projects and assignments as a student at the Academy of Art University. I have also embedded music, which may seem amateurish for some. However, I would disagree. I think of it as my take on “mixed media,” so to speak. And if you don’t like my mixing, you can simply turn it off. This is a democratic and extremely accommodating site after all—like its maker, yours truly. As my academic ties are about to be severed, I am destined to embark on yet another thrilling journey. As I evolve, mature, and create new works, this site will concomitantly evolve to reflect my metamorphosis, insights, and aspirations. So stay tuned—or not, again the choice is yours—as I indulge in the pleasures of “art for art’s sake.”
